GCW Gurawara Welcomes New Students with Orientation Program

An orientation program was held at the Government College for Women (GCW), Gurawara, to formally welcome newly admitted first-year students and familiarize them with the college's various cells and activities. The program began with an address from the Principal, Dr. Ajay, who encouraged the students to work diligently. Following this, faculty members provided information on different aspects of college life. Dr. Bharti Yadav spoke on balancing academics with personality development and detailed the functions of the Planning and Placement Cell. Amit Bhoria discussed the National Education Policy and cultural programs. Dr. Pinki Yadav, informed students about the activities of the Red Cross and Legal Literacy Cells. Ms Rajni explained various government scholarship schemes, while Dr. Jyoti detailed the functions of the Women's Cell and its grievance redressal mechanism. Krishan Sharma provided information on library facilities, and Manisha spoke about the NSS.
