Digital Learning Resources
National Digital Library of India (NDLI)
Students have full access to the National Digital Library of India (NDLI), a Ministry of Education initiative. It is a massive digital repository containing tens of millions of resources, including textbooks, articles, videos, audiobooks, and question papers from various national and international digital libraries. This platform serves as a single-window search facility for students to access learning materials from primary to postgraduate levels.
SWAYAM Portal
SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is a Government of India initiative offering free online courses on a wide variety of subjects. These MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) are designed by expert faculty from centrally funded institutions like IITs and IIMs.
GCW Gurawara is an approved SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter. This designation means the college officially facilitates and encourages its students to participate in these courses, providing mentorship and guidance to help them earn valuable certifications.
One Nation, One Subscription (ONOS) Initiative
The college is actively monitoring the development of the "One Nation, One Subscription" (ONOS) initiative by the Government of India. This transformative plan aims to provide centralized, nationwide access to premier academic journals and scholarly e-resources for all government-funded academic and research institutions.
While this initiative is currently under progress, its future implementation will grant our students and faculty seamless access to a vast collection of high-impact research literature, significantly boosting research and learning opportunities at the institution.
